You see, by saying that he was jinxing the team, I was actually trying to make light of the situation our team seems to be in, in order to give us something to laugh at, rather than have all the negativity crush us into oblivion. There are plenty of sites that define the words better than I ever can, I suggest you google them for clarification next time.
