In other news, Eric and I will be leaving in about an hour for the center of the hockey world, Montreal, Canada. Since we will be lacking for steady internet there will be no live blog of tonight’s game against Columbus nor of tomorrow’s match-up with the Pens.
Please use this blog, however, to keep up the conversation with each other during these games.

he got hit in the head with a columbus players stick to the head, and he was down and shaken.
mand i was scared shitless to see a man down on the bench, it just brings back nightmares of Cherepanov.
then the rangers comeback with a goal from dan girardi.
with klesla, callahan and dawes by the rangers bench, renney got struck in the head. hope he’s okay.

rangers win in columbus for the first time since january of 2001.
