you know I was kidding right?
I could see him as like an Al Trautwig type (conducting mini interviews during play stoppages and stuff) or an in between period commentator like Giannone. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a little miffed at the organization right now, even if he pretends not to be.

I was also trying to keep it within the MSG Family. Look at Allan Houston, who “was cut before the end of the preseason, without appearing in a game. The Knicks plan on keeping Houston with the organization in another role.”

Yes, I am a fan of the WNBA. I am also a NASCAR and a new NHL Fan.

i think shanny should be an announcer for NBC. Winter Classic? I mean he did win a Cup with Detroit. I hope he’ll be involved with that some way.

It would’ve been nice if Slats just manned up back in Aug. and told Shanny the Same “we’re going in a different direction…” speech they gave Jagr.

It just P***** me off that they treated him like this! He is too slow for this Ranger team but, I hope he winds up in the Western Conf.

This is a shame, however, I don’t know if there was ever any chance this season that we would see him come back.

I wonder if they could bring him in to the organization but in a non-ice position?
