I just hope that the guys will update their post to have the term “April Fools” or some other indicator that his is a joke and not fact. For people to realize the post is not news.

The sad thing is, I knew it was an April fools joke because they didnt have the facts right

First and foremost, you can only have buyouts from June 15 to June 30th, thats the only window to do it. Secondly his entire contract would not come off the books…2/3rds of his remaining salary spread out over twice the years left is what we would be cap hit at. Someone else can do the math.

It pays to know useless information like 85% of the CBA by heart.

I didn’t click the link at first. So I ran down the hall to my buddies room (I’m at school) and started celebrating, then I came back to my room and started telling all of my friends I could find online… only to have my buddy from down the hall come into my room 15 minutes later to tell me to read the link.

That’s not funny.
I nearly broke my computer by jumping up in exitement, started my victory dance. Then I realized something was wrong: Slats never admits to his mistakes.

I was already told by my english teacher that we were supposed to come in friday of next week (which is our spring break) only to have been told it was another April Fools joke. Only other prank was my friend Brent put soap on our friend Dan’s chair in homeroom (we have it in the HomeEc room).

There is only one good thing about this day… it means my birthday is in ten days!
