1. because of corporate fatcats who dont actually show up to the games they bought tickets for.

2. Cause if the GM is going to throw money out the window on schlubs like Malik, Redden, Rozival Gomer, etc, I reserve the right to express my feelings on the matter during the game.

3. Because you cant confuse the rules with manners. A rule is a rule, and if players slash him, trip him, board him, and headhunt him, he deserves a call, even if he does act like a child sometimes. Brodeur whines like a child, and he gets calls all the time. Maybe you have to be a fat tool to get the refs attention

oh, sorry, was I supposed to save the answers for the show?

I like Plebains idea... Pesonally, I would like to hear Steve & Erics thoughts on things like how the Garden "sold out 150 games straight" even though there were a ton of empty seats at many games... how the "Garden faithful" are very known to boo their own team even if theyre just down a goal, and why the fans think that Avery deserves to be treated like "any other player" when he consistantly draws negative attention to himself game in and game out.

Just a couple examples.

Hey Boys,

I love the effort in keeping up with the posts this summer, it is a marketed improvement over last summer.

You routinely ask your fans for input, and to help with the growth of NYRangerscast. So in an effort to help improve the site, and the show, I'd like to make a suggestion for you to mull over.

I was wondering if there is something (other than the lack of content to talk about) that is keeping you away from the studio to do more shows. I realize that you probably fill up your free time in the summer with other responsibilities, but if it IS primarily due to a lack of content, I'd like to offer you the following advice:

Create a re-occuring post asking the fans of the NYRangerscast to submit their questions to you. Indicate that the post is for questions only, and that answers should not be discussed in the comments section so that they can be saved for the show. Think like what Stan Fischler does with his blog series "ask the Maven", except respond via podcast instead of the blog.

This way fans have more NYRangerscast content to look forward to, and you keep the fan base going strong over the summer hiatus, which will make the transition to the start of next season effortless.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Sweet. Just listening to WFAN at two in the morning, and I just heard on the sports update that you can meet the 1989 Little League World Series champions from Trumbull, CT! That's right! Rangers captain and possibly most noted little leaguer EVER is going to be taking part in a charity homerun derby in his hometown. Sounds like fun.

Thanks for the interview. He has the right attitude.

I expect Artie to be a Ranger next season and vie for the Calder Cup.
